Free cinema apps have been rolled out across the country to stream movies online without the need for tickets.
The new apps include:Aurora Park Cinemas (US), Bally’s Belly Cinema (US) and Bally Cinemas Cinemas on the Isle of Skye (UK).
The free apps have had mixed reception.
While some have been welcomed, others have received mixed reviews, including one app which has received mixed praise.
“This app is great,” said one reviewer.
“The interface is a bit slow and it takes a while to load the app, but the content is really good,” another said.
The Cinema Free app also supports the ability to buy a cinema ticket through the app without having a ticket.
The Cinemas Free app, launched in Australia in October last year, lets users view films in theatres without having tickets.
The app will also let users rent films and pay for them through a mobile app.
The app is free to download but users will need to register their card to view the films.
There are two options available to use the free app, which lets users browse through a list of films, select a cinema, and then pay for tickets or rent the film online.
There is also a subscription option for $4.99 a month which allows users to watch movies for one month.
Users can also purchase tickets and rent films through the Cinemas free app.
