Fox’s ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’ will be back in cinemas in November.
The fantasy epic is directed by Akshay Kumar and is set in the year 2031.
“It’s the biggest film ever to be made in India and it’s the most expensive,” Fox CEO Bob Iger said in a press conference today.
“We have been working hard to find a distributor for the film.”
The company said it was excited about the release of ‘Fahsrenheit 9-11’ after it received the thumbs up from the government and studios.
“I know it’s a huge release, but we are excited about it,” Iger added.
Iger, who has been a supporter of ‘Cinema 10’ and ‘Cine 10’, said the film will not only showcase the latest technology, but also provide a new take on the film’s world and culture.
Fox said the new release would be in the form of a digital-only digital bundle.
“Cinemas will see a whole new experience when they are able to see this new film,” Ig said.
The company also said it would be releasing a digital version of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 3’ in the same format.
The studio said that the new film will be available for digital download and will include the first trailer.
Ig also said the company would soon launch ‘The Last Unicorn’ as a digital title in India.
The film is scheduled to hit cinemas on November 23.
